The CQC statement
“We assess and manage the risk of infection. We detect and control the risk of it spreading and share any concerns with appropriate agencies promptly.”
This is one of the Safe Quality Statements in the CQC Single Assessment Framework. To meet it, providers need to demonstrate relevant evidence during assessment.
